Back-to-School Bash

Getting ready for back to school isn't easy. Parents and educators deserve a bash too, right? Head to this back to school bash for a chance to connect with others and win some cool prizes (not JUST back to school gear for kids, but some great goodies for you, too).

Great Websites from ALSC

ALSC (Association for Library Service to Children) is just one division of the American Library Association. They have their own blog, their own list serv (is this one word, or two?) and their own parties!

They also have a committee which suggests Great Websites for Kids and have recently made several additions to the list.

I personally enjoy this list as I share these sites with other parents I know who want their children to have a safe, fun and educational on line experience.

Parenting Party

Kane/Miller is one of several co-sponsors of the upcoming Parenting Party happening May 22nd at The Airport Lounge in San Diego.

Travel and commUNITY are themes for the first annual Happy Healthy Hip Parenting Party.

Tickets are $10 per person ($15 at the door). Each guest will receive two drink tickets and a chance to win some FABULOUS prizes throughout the night. Appetizers will be served until 9:30pm and there will be music and fun to help keep the party going.
